Two cards for a Monday..............

could be anything shiny.

I used glitter card stock for the red trim and sentiment along with some silver glitter card stock for the snowflake, Tossed on some bling to make it sparkle some more. I used my mini stapler to attach the sentiment as I keep seeing Laurel do on her cards.

And a new to me challenge blog,
I saw this sketch on a blog when I was looking around (I can't remember who's) and had to give it a try.

For my second card
I found this image tucked away and thought she would go great with this sentiment.

Sketchy Saturday

What I love about Laurel's sketches is you can do a CAS or really load your card up.

ah-mazing / orange!!

Let me start off by saying ORANGE is not a color that is in my craft room, except for Halloween! Well I didn't want to do a Halloween card so dug and hunted until I found a few tiny bits of EP dots and stripes to use. Found some orange ink, then I heat embossed with clear to make the orange ink stand out.  And now I hope the "orange" theme is gone till Halloween, hahaha

you hold the key to my heart

Happy Valentines Day

This is one of my favorite sentiments
to use on hubby's cards.

Dies used: Tim Holtz and Spellbinders
I cut several of each and stacked them
so they were nice and thick. the key is covered in wink of stella to add some sparkle

*I did an easy to recreate card*

*honestly forgot about the little tags bits*
and i rotated the sketch

Ode to Jessi

For this challenge on Shopping our Stash # 388 we are to find something on Jessi's blog that inspires us and create an item using our stash. I was blessed to be on Seize the Sketch DT with her in 2014 :)

Well THIS CARD  was what I found (it was hard to just pick one!)
*sorry after saving the photo I forgot to save the link*

I love the white embossing on the kraft paper

jingle belles: shaping up

So glad the challenge on jingle belles is shaping up CARDS not me exercising lol
I used my Silhouette  machine to make this card :)  After cutting out all the pieces I used a lot of glitter and liquid pearls so "decorate" the tree.

I am in love with you

Well I gave a window card a try and learned a few things.
1. be careful of foam showing
2. make the frame larger then the window.
3. they are really hard to photograph.
Not 100% happy with it but, will remember lessons
learned for next window card I make.
