photo blocks

WOW! two posts in one day?? rare for me,eh? lol

i am playing along with this months challenge on

of course i had to use photos of our
"kids"
Precious and Q

i started out with some wood blocks that i removed stamps from
sure am glad i listened to hubby when he told me to keep them
as i might just need them someday! he is so wise :)

i used these MS ones for the photo blocks
and used smaller ones for the "kids" initials
well Q's name is just Q anyway! lol

i kept wanting to add more but it just took away from the photos
so went with the CAS style!
i painted the blocks with TH distress crackle
paint vintage photo, doesn't show up that great in the pics.
paper: su card stock, bg max & whiskers
punch: ms scallop dot boarder
misc stamps for the letters
stays on ink, modge podge to stick the paper on the blocks
hot glue gun to attach the small blocks to the larger ones
some cute little kitty items from my stash
and a bg max & whiskers button.

time to get cracken' on my DT items now!
enjoy your day and have a wonderful weekend :)
